A core activity of the Institute is publishing materials that will improve understanding of the Maryland Campaign.
The Antietam Institute has established a publishing arm to expand the written word about the 1862 Maryland Campaign. These published works include the biannual Antietam Journal and individual books, including Brigades of Antietam and Artillery of Antietam.
The Antietam Journal: Perspectives on the 1862 Maryland Campaign features the latest scholarly research, interpretation, and stories of the Maryland Campaign. All proceeds directly support the Institute’s educational mission.

The Antietam Institute publishes the biannual The Antietam Journal: Perspectives on the 1862 Maryland Campaign, featuring the latest scholarly research, interpretation, and stories of the Maryland Campaign.
The Journal is provided to all current members as a benefit of membership.
